Wrapping cables (camera cables in this case) with aluminum foil helped to reduce noise in the connection while underwater.

Three (!) cameras in the front gives a much clearer picture of the surroundings at the cost of some extra computation. Each camera only runs at 640x480 though so probably not a ton of extra load. Also gives a lot of visibility for the peg task.
